Visa Information

You may be required a visa to enter Japan. It varies by nationality. Please contact your local embassy or consulate of Japan and process your visa if necessary. We recommend you to have enough time for the visa procedure. You could also obtain some information about the visa to enter Japan from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan Website. (http://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/index.html).

If you need visa application documents, please let us know nmj2018_travel@nittsu.co.jp, by 30 September 2018. We will send you the request form as return.

Health and Travel Insurance / Liability

Delegates are advised to take out appropriate health and travel insurance. Neither the Conference Organizers nor the Conference Secretariat accept any liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage to property belonging to conference participants, either during or as a result of the conference or during all tours and events.

Local Currency

The currency used in Japan is the Japanese yen (JPY).


The official language of the congress is English. People in stores, restaurants and hotels are mostly not so fluent in English. For your reference, please check Easy Japanese for travel.
